1. INSTRUCTION

Instruction:
Redesinged an infographic poster and use the poster to create an animated infographic poster.



2. PROJECT 01

Requirements

Your main intention is to analyse the “delivery mechanism’s” that affect the outcomes of your infographics.
Though content is important, however the aim of this presentation is too look at what makes an infographic presentation work or does not work. This includes content but only as one of the many components of an infographic:

Part 01:  Infographic Poster (20%)

Instruction:
  1. Choose 1 infographic poster reference from internet (Need to consult before proceed)
  2. Redesign the poster into A4 size. Sketch the idea and process.
  3. Redesign and simplify the poster based on visual hierarchy and typography.
  4. Simplify the poster's design based on colour, shapes and pattern.
  5. Attach the final poster on E-Portfolio with explaination and reflective writing.

2.1  Find poster reference from internet

After Mr Shamsul has posted this assignment in the classroom, I then start to find poster reference that use to redesign in Pinterest before the tutorial class.

What I have found on Pinterest are:
After consult with Mr Shamsul, I decided to go for the first one which is https://pin.it/nf2k2X0B8.

2.2  Redesign poster

While finnish decide the poster, I then start to conduct the redesign process. Before I start to redesign I tried to sketch some sketches out to reformat the content and the layout.

2.2.1  Sketches

Refer to the references that I have found on Pinterest, I have drawn several sketches.

I have choose sketch 3 for the final poster.

2.2.2  Redesign Poster in Adobe Illustrator

After decided the sketch, I then start to redesign the poster in Adobe Illustrator. I use shape tool to draw line, rectangle and circle, after that I apply the content into the poster accoring to the alphabet.

Before import the poster to Adobe After Effect, I relayered all the layer again to remain and retain the layer position.

After finnished layering, I then also rename all of the layer to do the follow-up work.

3. PROJECT 02

Part 02:  Minimal Animated Infographic (20%)

Instruction:
  1. Animate your infographic poster into one stativ loop animation page
  2. Loop duration in between 15-30 second
  3. Size: 1080 x 1920 px (Vertical Video) the upload to your own YouTube channel.

Submission
  1. Digital Upload into your Google Drive.
  2. Online posts in your E-Portfolio and your reflective writing. (Please attatch the E-Portfolio link here for ssubmission)

3.1  Animation in Adobe After Effect

After finnish the redesign poster, I then import the Adobe Illustration files into Adobe After Effect.

Then I tried to create minimal animation into the poster, morely use rotation and position to make the animation.

4. REFLECTION

For this redesign project, my goal was to refine the visual presentation of the "7 Key Design Principles" poster while improving clarity, readability, and overall aesthetic appeal. The original design was functional but had areas for improvement, particularly in hierarchy, spacing, ad visual cohesion.

Design Concept

The redesigned poster follows a modern and minimalistic design approach, ensuring that the key principles are clearly communicated. I aimed to create a visually structured layout that enhances readaability while maintaining a balance between text and graphics. I incorporated a cohesive typographic hierarchy, ensuring that each principle is easily distinguishable and that the most important elements stand out. Additionally, I refined the alignment and spacing to create a more harmonious composition.
