2. PROJECT 01
Project 01 is a group assignment that required at least 10 members. Our
group chose ancient architecture as our topic, focusing on the Colosseum in
Ancient Rome. Through this project, we learned about the building’s
structure, history, purpose, time of construction, and its cultural
significance.
At the beginning of the project, communication was our biggest challenge.
Since we came from different modules and semesters, it was difficult to meet
in person. Most of our discussions were done online, which was not easy at
first. However, as time went on, we adapted to online communication and
became more organised. This helped us work better as a team and complete the
project smoothly.
Another challenge was using Augmented Reality (AR). This was our first time
working with AR, so the process was confusing at the beginning. We were
unsure how to present architectural information in an AR format. Through
trial and error, discussion, and teamwork, we gradually understood the
process and managed to complete the AR component.
Overall, Project 01 was a meaningful learning experience. It helped me
improve my communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
The challenges we faced also encouraged me to try new technologies and step
out of my comfort zone.

3. PROJECT 02
Project 2 helped me understand architectural history in a more hands-on way.
Instead of learning only through reading, I learned by observing buildings
and sketching them. By studying Malaysian heritage and modern buildings, I
became more aware of form, space, circulation, and architectural elements,
rather than just how a building looks.
This project was quite challenging because it happened at the same time as
other subjects with close deadlines. I found it hard to manage my time and
often had to work independently to complete the tasks. Another challenge was
arranging a lot of information into one A4 layout. At first, I felt that
everything was important, which made it difficult to decide what to include.
Through this project, I learned how to choose and prioritise information
better. I started to focus on the key architectural ideas and present them
clearly instead of including too much detail. Overall, this project helped
me improve my analytical thinking, time management, and confidence in
explaining architectural ideas through sketches and layout.

4. REFLECTION
These projects were meaningful learning experiences for me. Through both group and individual work, I gained a better understanding of architectural history, not only through research but also through observation, sketching, and new technologies. I learned to analyse architecture more deeply by focusing on form, space, circulation, and architectural elements rather than just visual appearance.
