- REFLECTION -

Through this project, I learned a lot of knowledge about software and how to use it. Which includes the basic of digital photography, poster design, double exposure, and digital surrealism. In the other hand, about software, I learned about how to embeded a picture into another picture, turn a black and white photo into colour photo and create a double exposure photo in Adobe Photoshop. These skills give me a good opportunity to complete my assignment. I am quite satisfied with the final outcome of my digital imaging exercise and Conceptual Product Photoshoot. It is interesting to turn a black and white photo into a colored photo and create a double exposure using our own potrait.

In this task, I had learned and able to demonstrate creative use of software, which is Adobe Photoshop, and effective use of digital media skills to promote or communicate design concepts or solutions. Other than that, I had learned sbout how to conduct oral and verbal presentation to persuade and illustrate ideas and concepts in a multidisciplinary setting as a term or an individual. Next, I also learn how to use creative thinking skills and methodologies to explore, generate and test a wide range of conceptual ideas. 

From this task, it helps me discipline specific knowledge (TGC 1.0), it able me to put theories into practice, provide me the understandiing of ethical issues in the context of the field of study and the professional practice within the field of study. Next, this task also help me on critical thinking, problem solving and develop creative thinking skills (TGC 2.0), it helps me to define and analyse problems to arrive at effective solutions. Other than that, this task also conduct lifelong learning (TGC 3.0), it able me to learn independently and be intellectually engaged.

Project 2B: Conceptual Product Photoshoot

• Research: 10 marks (Week 09)
• Shootign Techniques: 5 marks
• Lighting Techniques: 5 marks
• Editing and Post Production: 10 marks (Week 10)

Instructions: 

1. Create a conceptual product photoshoot using various lighting techniques.
2. Find an interesting subject and shoot it using suitable lighting techniques.
3. Create a photo manipulation of the subject using Photoshop to make it interesting.
4. Explain the concept and the process of the development.
