Week 11 is consultation week for our Final Project so we don't have any lectures.

WEEK 11 : TUTORIAL

As for tutorial session, Mr Fauzi has brief us about our Final Project: Cinimagraphs - Self-tilted (Still&Animation).

Final Project: Self-tilted

Self-tilted is a project for students to express their individuality and reflect their personality through digital art. They create a composition taht includes their own photos, and animate the elements in the composition, and render them into a video (animation). 

The main idea is to buid up self-confidence and discover their interest.

Timeframe of this project is from Week 11 to Week 14

To complete this assignment, we need to go through few parts listed below: 

1. Idea Development
• Write a biography about yourself
• Write a statement about your work
2. Design Direction
• Create a sketch for your work
• Create a digital poster for your work
3. Execution and Post Production
• Import your Final Poster to After Effects
• Develop the composition techniques using Digital Photography and Graphic Design
4. Submission
• Animate your composition in After Effects
• Attatch your video progress

Video requirements: 

• Duration: 15 seconds
• Output: .MOV or .MP4 less than 20MB
• Size: 1080px x 1920px (I.G reel / story size)

Marking Criteria of this project:

    - Idea Development (5%) - Week 11

    - Design Direction (5%) - Week 11 /12

    - Execution and Post Production (10%) - Week 12

    - Animation and Finishing (10%) - Week 13 / 14

Submission is on Week 14 and total mark is 30%

Mr Fauzi has shown us some senior's works so that we have a general direction and a better understanding of the subject.

Part 01  Idea Development

Biography about Myself

My name is Chin Tze Wei, 20 years old. I come from Sandakan, Sabah.

My MBTI is INFP-T (Mediator). I am an super introvert person. I like to stay in my own world instead of socializing but it doesn't mean that I cannot social. Sometimes I like to find pleasure in daydreaming and indulging in fantasies. 

I like cats, enjoy reading novels, listening to music, watching anime and dramas. My dream is to travel around the world with my camera and capture all the beautiful moments I see with my eyes.

I want to live a fulfilling life, continue finding the purpose in life and achive my dreams.

Summary: Introvert person, enjoy reading, dream is to travel around the world.

Statement about My Work

I have two idea to show my personality and express myself. One is about my MBTI which is INFP. Another idea is about my dream. One reflect my personalities and one shows my dream. 

For the fisrt idea, I plan to reflect on my personalities which is compile all the feature of INFP inside my photos such as imaginative, idealistic, introverted and etc.

For the second idea, I want to reflect on my dreams which is travel around the world. I plan to show them using collage method.

Summary: Imaginative, idealistic, travel around the world, collage method.

Acording to the references that I have found on Pinterest, I start up to draw out my sketch.
