For this module, Digital Photography and Imaging, our lecture, Mr Fauzi has assigned us to do an e-portfolio on Blogger. This e-portfolio is to record down what have we done during semester. The E-portfolio will contain several sessions, which are weekly post (lecture, tutorial and practical) and project (assignment we have done: Project 1: Collage Design and Digital Imaging, Project 2: Digital Imaging Exercise and Conceptual Product Photoshoot and Final Project: Self-Tilted [Still and Animation])

2. Reflection

During the Digital Photography and Imaging module, I immersed myself in a comprehensive exploration of fundamental photography shooting skills and essential techniques. The lessons on golden ratio rules, perspectives, and more provided a solid foundation for my understanding of the art and science behind capturing captivating images.

One of the highlights of this module was the invaluable experience gained in mastering Adobe Photoshop. The software became a powerful tool in my hands, and under the guidance of our knowledgeable lecturer, Mr. Fauzi, I learned not only the basics but also advanced techniques such as Double Exposure. This newfound skill proved to be a game-changer, as it greatly facilitated the completion of various assignments. The ability to seamlessly blend and manipulate images in Photoshop added a creative dimension to my work, allowing me to craft visually striking posters that exceeded my initial expectations.

Additionally, Mr. Fauzi went beyond the realm of static images, introducing us to Adobe After Effects. Learning how to navigate this dynamic software opened up a realm of possibilities, culminating in the creation of a 15-second animated video for my Final Project. The newfound proficiency in After Effects not only expanded my technical skill set but also enabled me to explore the fusion of static and dynamic elements in visual storytelling.

Reflecting on this module, I am grateful for the practical skills acquired and the hands-on experience gained. The combination of traditional photography principles and digital editing techniques broadened my perspective on visual storytelling. This module has not only equipped me with essential skills for my academic journey but has also ignited a passion for photography and digital imaging that I look forward to carrying forward in my future endeavours. Mr. Fauzi's guidance and the engaging curriculum have been instrumental in shaping my growth as a digital photographer and image creator.

Overall, this module, Digital Photography and Imaging is an interesting module, I really enjoy this class, I have a high evaluation for this subject because I have indeed learned a lot here. The only downside is probably the online classes. Since the teacher for this subject conducts classes through online sessions, there are many things I couldn't grasp. I had to rely on the video links provided by the teacher to understand the principles and methods of camera operation and shooting. These are aspects that I consider somewhat regrettable.
